Origin of Labor Day in Ecuador

 To mark the centenary of the First Cry of Independence, August 10, 1909 the First Congress was held Ecuadorian Workers. In 1911, at the initiative of the Association of Suppliers Market Guayaquil, it was commemorated for the first time on 1. May, the Ecuadorian workers continued remembering in the following years.
